The Single Girl's Guide to Valentine's Day

Who else is spending this Valentine’s Day single? Well, take comfort in knowing you aren’t the only one! I used to hate Valentine’s Day, especially in college when I’d see couples walking all over campus. However, I’ve learned that you can celebrate the holiday regardless of if you’re in a relationship or not! So, here are my fun tips and activities for Valentine’s Day.

1). Take yourself on a date!

I know, this sounds corny. But, there’s no reason you can’t take yourself somewhere special! Whether it’s dinner, coffee, or a movie, this is the perfect opportunity to show yourself some self-love.

2). At-home spa day

Take some time to break out all of your spa essentials. My favorites are fuzzy socks, a body scrub, a face mask, and giving myself a pedicure. If you have the time, you can even take a bubble bath with your favorite bath fizzy, or Epsom salts!

3). Pour a glass of wine and binge your favorite TV show

Nothing feels better than a drink and your favorite television show. Currently, I’m binging The Bay on Amazon Prime.

4). Plan a girls-only party

Whether you’re going out or staying in, rally your best girlfriends together and have a good time! You can throw your own party, or go to your favorite restaurant.

5). Buy yourself chocolate

You don’t have to buy yourself anything terribly expensive. In fact, The Dollar Store is my favorite place to go for any holiday! (If you want to be super cheesy like me, you can even buy yourself a little teddy bear to go with your chocolate).

See? Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be lonely! Let me know what your favorite things to do on Valentine’s Day are!
