4 Tips for a Good Nights Sleep

We all know the importance of getting a good night’s sleep, but more often than not, it can be hard to do! Getting enough sleep helps with so many things like muscle recovery, stress/anxiety, and and brain function. So many things get in the way of getting enough sleep every night! So, in this week’s blog, I’m sharing some tips to help you wind down and get the sleep you need for the next day!

1). Tea

I always have a cup of bedtime or relaxation tea before I go to bed. I find this has such a calming effect, and puts me to sleep almost instantly! There are different brands out there, so find a few you like so you can switch it up!

2). Take a Bath or Shower

I find a hot bath or shower really does the trick, especially when it comes to getting my muscles to relax. I also try to have low lighting to create a calming environment.

3). Journaling

Get all those thoughts that keep you up at night down on paper! That way, those thoughts aren’t keeping you awake necessarily, and your mind is clear.

4). Put your Phone Away

I know, this one is always the hardest. But, research shows that the light from your phone stimulates your brain, and keeps it awake. I try and put my phone down about 30 minutes before going to bed.

Which one of these tips do you want to try? Are there any tips you have to share? Share them in the comments, or let me know over on Instagram @alexandraraye05
