I spend a decent amount of time in my car. From work, to the gym, to rehearsals, I’m always looking for new ways to keep myself entertained on long car rides. One of my favorite things to listen to are podcasts! You can find some of these on YouTube, and all of them on Apple Podcasts, or wherever else you listen to podcasts. In my latest blog post, I wanted to share my favorite podcasts; the ones you should be listening to right now!
1). The Freddie and Alyssa Show
The fun thing about the Freddie and Alyssa show is that it’s a project that was built from the ground up! Hosted by Freddie Smith and Alyssa Tabit, they talk about a wide range of topics; from keeping yourself motivated, Q & A’s, as well as special guests including some of Freddie’s Days of Our Lives co-stars. .
2). NPR Politics
I’m not a big politics person, but I do like to have a general understanding of what’s going on. I also like to have unbiased opinions just giving me the facts. NPR is great because they really break down the information for you so it’s easy to understand. NPR has their own app, or you can find it wherever you listen to podcasts.
3). That’s Awesome!
This is another fun one, hosted by Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson from General Hospital. They always have fun guests, and because most of them are fellow actors, they get to really dive into their start and their acting processes. (Genie Francis is definitely my favorite of their guests! :) )
4). Your Kick-Ass Life
This is one of those podcasts that really gets you feeling inspired! Hosted by Andrea Owen, it’s all about being the best version of yourself and creating the life you want. She has a variety of guests, all who talk about a variety of topics to help empower and inspire you.
5). Dishin’ Days and GH Report
Okay, these two are probably not for everyone. Afterbuzz TV has a variety of recap shows, and naturally, I tune in to their Days of Our Lives and General Hospital recaps. The hosts are passionate, hysterical, and always entertaining to listen to. They are on YouTube as well, and wherever you listen to podcasts.
Do you have favorite podcast you listen to? I’d love to hear some of your favorites; I’m always looking for new entertainment!
