Let’s face it; for most people, Monday mornings are not their favorite day. People are coming off of a great weekend, and the idea of having to get up and go to work is daunting. However, I’ve found that I can set the entire tone for my Monday, which translates to setting the tone for the rest of my week, by taking the time to set myself up for success on Sunday night. In my latest blog post, I wanted to share with you the 5 things I do every Sunday night to prepare myself for a great week!
1). Plan my social media posts
Part of being a blogger is making sure you have great content for the week. I have 2 apps I use to help post all of my content throughout the week, Buffer and Hootsuite. I can schedule all of my social media posts for the whole week and the apps post them for me! By getting them all ready ahead of time, I don’t have to scramble during the week. (Both of these apps are available in the App Store for free!)
2). Food prep
Food prep for me is huge, because it makes me feel more confident in my food choices for the week. I’m also less likely to eat out, because I know I have delicious food waiting for me at home. Some of my favorite meals right now include:
-Homemade tuna salad
-Potato nachos
-Homemade veggie protein bowls
3). Prep my outfits for the week
At one end of my closet, I always have a week’s worth of outfits ready to go. This way, I’m not running around in the morning trying to find something to wear.
4). Make a to-do list
This is something I also do every night for the next day. However, on Sunday nights, I like to know which day of the week I’m going grocery shopping, running errands, or anything else that needs to get done.
5). Meditate/get to bed early!
There’s nothing better than starting your week with a little extra sleep! I always aim to turn out the light an hour earlier than I normally would to give me a head start on sleep.
