There’s so much information out there, especially in such a big industry like health & fitness. Different coaches have different ways of doing things, and while we all fundamentally learn the same things, we all work differently. So, in this week’s blog post, I wanted to share the important fundamentals when it comes to starting your health and fitness journey!
1). Don’t compare your chapter 1 to someone else’s chapter 10
Most people post their most sculpted pictures on Instagram, but not the ones from their first day, when they could barely do a push up. Everyone has to start from ground zero, even the biggest, most ripped bodybuilders you see online. So, the key is to start slow, and eventually, someone will be looking at your chapter 10 from their chapter 1.
2). Understand that fitness and nutrition are a package deal
Here’s the bottom line; you can’t be in good physical shape without both of these things. Workouts and meal plans go hand-in-hand, and are crucial to your success. But, it doesn’t have to be overwhelming! Coaches (myself included) know how to break things down for you so you can feel confident in your journey from the beginning!
3). Cardio doesn’t always mean running
There are some people who love running, and I’m one of those people! However , there are so many other fun ways to get your cardio in like walking, swimming, the elliptical! or bike riding! These are all great forms of cardio, and they’re also low-impact, which is great for your joints!
