Every year when Valentine’s Day rolls around, I find myself getting some serious FOMO. Anyone else? You see all the the social media posts of your friends with their significant others, and you’re reminded of just how single you really are. But, a few years ago, I decided to start celebrating Valentine’s Day by myself, and I look forward to it every year! So, In this week’s blog, I’m sharing how I celebrate.
1). Have a spa night
Break out the face mask, fuzzy socks, nail polish, and all the other things! My favorite thing to do is pamper myself, and pull out all the stops. Some of my essentials are fuzzy socks (of course!) my Proactiv face mask, and Miracle Gel by Sally Hansen!
2). Take yourself on a date
Strong, independent women can absolutely take themselves on a date! While it’s a little harder with the pandemic, there are still things you can do! You can order dinner in and watch a movie, or make yourself a nice cup of coffee and sit on your patio with a good book.
3). Throw Galentine’s Day party
Again, easier said than done with the pandemic. But, one of the most fun ways to celebrate is to decorate, grab your closest girlfriends, and have your own celebration!
4). Buy yourself some chocolate
I get it, we ALL want to feel a little special on Valentine’s Day. So, pick yourself up some fancy chocolate, and save it for that day! It’ll be a nice treat for yourself
There’s always a way to celebrate romance, even if it’s with ourselves! So, treat yourself this Valentine’s Day, and treat yourself like the Queen you are! I hope this gives you some inspiration for your Valentine’s Day!
