With the holidays upon us, it’s important to think about how we can stay on track with our health, while still enjoying ourselves! We should all be enjoying out holidays, without going completely off the rails. So, in this week’s blog, I wanted to share my top tips for keeping yourself on track, while still enjoying all of that delicious holiday food.
1). Get your fruits and veggies in
This one is key! The more of these you can have during the day, the more nutrients you’ll be fueling your body with. This helps make sure that in the midst of all that holiday food, you’re still getting the nutrients you need.
2). Don’t overeat
I know, this one is hard! But, by paying attention to your portions, you won’t feel bloated and stuffed. So, eat the food, friend! Just be careful of how much.
3). Stay hydrated
It’s easy to forget to drink water when there’s wine, hot chocolate, and other delicious drinks around! Just remember your body still needs water on top of those other delicious drinks.
