Although I haven’t been “back to school” in almost 3 years, I still find myself trying to get re-organized when this time of the year rolls around. My summer is always so hectic that most of my organization gets put on the backburner. So, in this week’s blog post, I wanted to hold myself accountable, and share my tips for re-organizing my life with you!
1). Keep a Physical Planner
I’ve written about my bullet journal before, which is what I use as a daily planner. The thing I love about using a paper planner rather than my phone, is technology can break at any time. This way, if my technology goes down, I still feel like I have all my ducks in a row.
2). Food Prep
Not only is food prep a big way for me to stay healthy, but it also makes my week a hundred times easier! If my food is ready and I can just grab it and go, I’m not running around trying to gather things in the morning.
3). Clean Up at the End of the Day
I know, at the end of a long day, the last thing anyone wants to do is clean. However, I find that if my house is clean, I feel so much better! This can be anything from doing the dishes, putting laundry away, or wiping down your kitchen.
If I’m rushing in the morning to pack everything I need, it puts me in such a bad mood. I hate starting my day that way! I find if I pack everything the night before, I’m more prepared for my day, and I know I have everything I need.
5). Keep Your Desk Clean
Have you ever needed to find something, and it’s been buried under a big pile? I hate that! A bad habit of mine is keeping piles of paper on my desk that I think are organized, when in reality, they really aren’t. I’ve started keeping file folders in my drawers, that way I can organize those piles, and keep my desk area clean!
