Have you ever wondered why wanting to get healthier feels so heavy? Have you gotten frustrated trying different avenues that never seem to stick? Friend, it’s not you! The fact is, there are so many things that make getting in better shape so difficult. So, in this week’s blog, I’m sharing what some of those things are, and how to overcome them!
Reason #1: Time
There simply aren’t enough hours in the day to do everything we want to do! We’re all juggling so many things; work, family, friends, you name it. And, we don’t want to feel totally depleted by the end of the day.
Solution: Quality over Quantity
Focus on making your workouts as effective as you can in the time you have, or consider splitting them up into different segments throughout your day! This makes it much more manageable, and less overwhelming!
Reason #2: Shiny Object Syndrome
It’s hard not to get distracted by the “latest and greatest” workout or diet. Shuffling things around is so unsustainable, and doesn’t set you up for success.
Solution: Have a Plan and Stick to It
The best way to ensure success is to follow a plan! This way, you aren’t left to your own devices, and you’re confident in your ability to follow a routine.
Reason #3: Gym-Anxiety
This one is so valid! When you walk into a gym for the first time, it can be so scary! There are so many machines, and it can be hard to figure out how to use them, and when to use them. And of course, there’s always the fear of being judged.
Solution: At Home Workouts
This is such a game changer! With minimal equipment, there’s no reason you can’t get an effective workout from home.
